HMGB1 belongs to the HMGB family. It contains 2 HMG box DNA-binding domains. The protein binds preferentially single-stranded DNA and unwinds double stranded DNA. The oxidized HMGB1 may accumulate even in cells under oxidative stress. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot
. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
