| Slightly proximal to the Huntington disease locus, the human MSX1 gene is deleted in patients with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. This gene is also called HOX7. The Msx family of vertebrate HOX genes was originally isolated by homology to the Drosophila msh (muscle segment homeo box) gene. This is a candidate gene for human cleft palate. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
