Produktbeschreibung

LBP, also known as Lipopolysaccharide-binding protein, is a glycoprotein member of the BPI/LBP family of lipidbinding proteins. LBP is a glycoprotein that is synthesized principally by hepatocytes. It binds to the lipid A moiety of bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS), a glycolipid present in the outer membrane of all Gram-negative bacteria. It binds to LPS to elicit immune responses by presenting the LPS to important cell surface pattern recognition receptors called CD14 and TLR4. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa26-481 from human LBP, fused to His-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in HEK293 cells.
