In diseases such as Cushing's syndrome, adrenal-originated hyperandrogenism, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia, plasma 11beta levels are very high. Plasma 11beta concentration is very low in congenital 11-hydroxylase deficiency and adrenal insufficiency.
