Sample Type: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids Intended Use: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of C1q in mouse serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Sensitivity: 13.8ng/ml Range: 31.2-2000ng/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Wide-range Complement 1q (C1q). No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Wide-range Complement 1q (C1q) and analogues was observed. Precision: Intra-Assay: CV<10% Inter-Assay: CV<12% Test Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to C1q. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to C1q. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain C1q, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm 10nm. The concentration of C1q in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
