Affinity purified Dolichos biflorus Lectin (DBA) is immobilized to Agarose following CNBr coupling. The final product is stabilized in a buffer to retain maximum activity. Binding Capacity: Depends on the composition and structure ofthe glycoconjugate or polysaccharide Exclusive Limit: ~2x10e7 pH Stability: 4-9 Suggested Buffers: Binding/Wash Buffer: 20mM Tris with 50mM sodium chloride, pH 7.6, (2mM CaCl2, MnCl2, Zn(AcO)2, MgCl2 can be added if desired to aid binding onto beads) Elution Buffer: 0.2M N-Acetylgalactosamine with 5mM EDTA, pH 7.6 Storage Buffer: 0.15 sodium chloride, 0.01% sodium azide Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
