Dylight 488 can be used to visualize the binding pattern of Vicia villosa Lectin (VVL/VVA) in cellular imaging and flow cytometry. DyLight 488 is a green-fluorescent dye that works over a broad pH range (pH 4-9). It is brighter and more photostable than many other green-fluorescent dyes, including FITC. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: Dylight conjugates are sensitive to light.
