RELT, also known tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 19L, is one of the the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. It is expressed in hematopoietic tissues and peripheral blood leukocytes. This protein mediates activation of NF-kappa-B and plays a role in T-cell activation. With overexpression of this protein in HEK-293 cells, it induces p38 and JNK signaling and activates apoptosis. And it can also costimulate T-cell proliferation in the presence of CD3 signaling. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa26-162 from human RELT, fused to to hIgG-His-Tag at C-terminal expressed in Baculovirus. Molecular Weight: ~41.4kD (376aa) Biological Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using D10.G4.1 mouse helper T cell. The ED50 for this effect is 20 pg/ml.
