Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa36-161 from mouse CTLA4, fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1 and with a C-terminal Avi-Tag, expressed in a HEK293 cells. Molecular Weight: ~42kD Assay Conditions: Reaction done similar to CTLA4:B7-1[biotin] BioAssay(TM) kit protocol. Buffer is PBS + 0.1% BSA. Blocking buffer is Superblock + 0.05% Tween-20. Coat protein (mouse CTLA4) was added overnight at 4 deg 100ng/well. Various amounts of biotinylated ligand (mouse B7-1[B]) (0-50ng) added for 2h at RT. Strep-HRP added for 1h at RT. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
