Streptavidin is a tetrameric protein containing four biotin-binding sites. Recombinant streptavidin is immobilized on a highly crosslinked beaded agarose destined to strongly bind biotinylated biomolecules. Bead Geometry & Size: Spherical, Standard: 50-150um Crosslinked: Highly Crosslinked Agarose: 6% Free Biotin Binding Capacity: >120 nmol/ml gel Antimicrobial Agent: 20% ethanol Storage and Stability: Store at 4C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
