Sheep IL-22 is produced in a range of cell types that include activated T cells and dendritic cells, subsets of splenic cells and Th17 cells. Ovine IL-22 modulates the inflammatory responses to bacterial pathogens, in particular in epithelial cells of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa34-190 from native sheep IL-22 expressed in Pichia pastoris Molecular Weight: ~18.3kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% carrier protein. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
