IL-10 is a member of the IL-10 family consisting of IL-10, IL-19, IL-20, IL-22, IL-24, IL-26, IL-28a, IL-28b, and IL-29. IL-10 is a major immune regulatory cytokine produced primarily by monocytes. IL-10 inhibits the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IFNgamma, IL-2, IL-4, GM-CSF and TNFa. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa22-175 from native chicken Interleukin-10, expressed in Pichia pastoris. Molecular Weight: ~18.3kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% carrier protein. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
