May play a pivotal role in the formation of the hyaluronan-associated matrix in the central nervous system (CNS) which facilitates neuronal conduction and general structural stabilization. Binds to hyaluronic acid (By similarity). Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa27-340 from human Hyaluronan and proteoglycan link protein 2, fused to 10X His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in Baculovirus. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
