Bifunctional O-glycosyltransferase and N-glycosyltransferase that can detoxify xenobiotics. Possesses high activity to metabolize the persistent pollutants 2,4,5-trichlorophenol (TCP) and 3,4-dichloroaniline (DCA). Also active on benzoates and benzoate derivatives in vitro. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-480 from Arabidopsis thaliana UDP-glycosyltransferase 72B1, fused to 10X His-Tag at N-terminal and Myc-Tag at C-terminal, expressed in E.coli.
