Adiponectin receptor 2/ADIPOR2, a 311-aa protein (mouse) with a Mol.wt of 35.4kD and human ADIPOR2 has 299aa which shares 95.2% homology with that of mouse. The ADIPOR2 serves as receptor for globular and full-length adiponectin and mediate increased AMPK and PPAR-alpha ligand activities, as well as fatty acid oxidation and glucose uptake by adiponectin. ADIPOR2 is most abundantly expressed in Liver. Source: 18aa peptide from mouse ADIPOR1, conjugated to KLH~N-terminus, Cytoplasmic domain Applications: Suitable for use in coating ELISA plates. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
