Synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal amino acid sequence of human ADP Ribosylation Factor 1.
ARF1 (ADP-ribosylation factor 1) is a member of the ARF family of small G proteins (guanine nucleotide-binding proteins). It is a component of Golgi-derived non-clathrin coated vesicles. Arf and other related small GTPases are an important part of the membrane traffic with both exocytic and endocytic pathways. ARF1 helps regulate the binding and releasing of coat proteins on membranes to form transport vesicles. It is also known to play a role in vessicular trafficking of phospholipase D. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 detects ADP Ribosylation Factor 1 in 10ug of HeLa lysates Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
