Synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal amino acid sequence of human ARF1.
MaxLight(TM)550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor(TM)546, 555, DyLight(TM)549 , Cy3(TM), TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm), Emission (575nm), Extinction Coefficient 150,000. ARF1 (ADP-ribosylation factor 1) is a member of the ARF family of small G proteins (guanine nucleotide-binding proteins). It is a component of Golgi-derived non-clathrin coated vesicles. Arf and other related small GTPases are an important part of the membrane traffic with both exocytic and endocytic pathways. ARF1 helps regulate the binding and releasing of coat proteins on membranes to form transport vesicles. It is also known to play a role in vessicular trafficking of phospholipase D. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight(TM)550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
