Produktbeschreibung

Murine and human Ang-2 are 496 AA secreted angiogenic proteins. There is ~85% homology between mouse and human Ang-2. It is only 60% homologous with Ang-1. Ang-2 may act as an antagonist of Ang-1 and Tie-2. It is prominently expressed in tissues that are in involved in vascular remodeling (ovary, placenta, and uterus). This is the control peptide used as the immunogen for Catalog Nos. A2293-10 and A2293-11. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Not suitable for use in Western Blot due to low molecular weight. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 50-100ng of control peptide/well Antibody Blocking: 5-10ug per 1ul A2293-10 (antiserum) or per 1ug A2293-11 (affinity purified antibody). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute by adding sterile PBS. Aliquot and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
