Human Aurora kinase A (aa1-403) with N-terminal His-tag, MW 50kD, expressed in an Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system .GenBank Accession:. NM_003600. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Specific Activity: 45pmole/min/ug Assay Conditions: Asssay was performed in Kinase Buffer containing 2mm DTT using KEMPtide substrate (0.2mg/ml) and 10uM ATP. Reaction was done at 30C for 45 minutes .Amount of ATP transferred was calculated using ADP-Glo reagent. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
