Immunogen: Carbonic anhydrase II from human Erythrocytes
Carbonic anhydrase II (gene name CA2), is one of fourteen forms of human alpha carbonic anhydrases. Carbonic anhydrase catalyzes reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Defects in this enzyme are associated with osteopetrosis and renal tubular acidosis. Renal carbonic anhydrase allows the reabsorption of sodium ions in the proximal tubule. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:165,000 Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Reinheit: Purified by delipidation, fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by diaylsis.
Formulierung: Supplied as a lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile ddH2O.
