Synthetic peptide based around an Inhibitor-2 peptide sequence that is phosphorylated by Casein Kinase 1 (RRKDLHDDEEDEAMSITA) (linear). Two amino acid substitutions have been made to render the peptide refractory to Casein Kinase 2. The substitutions, which are underscored, are both glutamate residues in Inhibitor 2. Applications: Suitable for use in Kinase assay. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Protein Kinase Assay: 250uM of this lot of substrate peptide was phosphorylated by a 1:100 dilution of Casein Kinase 1d (aa 1-294), active. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
