Synthetic peptide based around an Inhibitor-2 peptide sequence that is phosphorylated by Casein Kinase 1(RRKDLHDDEEDEAMSITA) (linear). Two amino acid substitutions have been made to render the peptide refractory to Casein Kinase 2. The substitutions, which are underscored, are both glutamate residues in Inhibitor 2 Applications: Suitable as a substrate for Casein Kinase I. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
