Human tonsil cells and peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
CD36 antigen is an ~88kD cell surface glycoprotein expressed by platelets, monocytes/macrophages and also by some microvascular endothelium and erythroid precursors. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Functional Studies. Not for use in Western Blot or Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:20, 10ul labels 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood. Immunohistochemistry: frozen Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
