Human CD49f molecules are integrin a6 chains that are expressed as heterodimers with CD29 (b1 integrin) or CD104 (b4 integrin) and function as adhesion receptors. CD49f is expressed on platelets, monocytes, T lymphocytes and thymoctyes. The ligands for CD49f/CD29 include laminin and invasion. CD49f/CD29 has been shown to associate with CD63. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
