MaxLight(TM)650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor(TM)647, DyLight(TM)649, Cy5(TM) and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm), Emission (676nm), Extinction Coefficient 250,000. CD49f can form distinct complexes with either the CD29-antigen (VLA beta-chain), resulting in the VLA-6 (alpha-6 beta-1) complex, which is expressed on human platelets, or with the beta-4 integrin resulting in the alpha-6 beta-4 complex which is expressed on various human epithelial cells. Platelet VLA-6 functions as a laminin receptor. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): Reacts with epithelial cells of a variety of tissues, peripheral nerves, microvascular endothelial cells, placenta cyto- and syncytiotrophoblasts. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. IHC Postive Control: Human Tonsil Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunized Sprague-Dawley rats. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight(TM)650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
