CD50 is a single chain polypeptide with a MW of 120kD. The protein is heavily glycosylated and resistant to treatment with phosphatidylinositol phospholipase C, and therefore probably not PI-anchored to the membrane. The antibody was provisionally clustered as CDw50 in Vienna at the IV and as CD50 in Boston at the V international workshop on human leukocyte differentiation antigens. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections, paraffin-embedded tissue after microwave treatment, and cell preparations) and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:10, Incubation Time 30 min. at RT. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
