Human CD86 (B7-2) is a costimulating ligand for CD28 and CTLA-4. CD86 is expressed on activated B cells and blood monocytes(3). Transfectant Cell Line: CHO Molecular Structure: A soluble kd fusion protein consisting of the extracellular (224aa) domain of human CD86 fused to murine IgG2a Fc (232aa). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
