A human melanoma-associated chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan plays a role in stabilizing cell-substratum interactions during early events of melanoma cell spreading on endothelial basement membranes. CSPG4 represents an integral membrane chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan expressed by human malignant melanoma cells. Applications: Suitable for use in RIA, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections ELISA: 1:400-1:3200 RIA: 1:50-1:6400 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:4000 (ECL) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
