• Immunogen: A 20 amino acid peptide sequence within the first cytoplasmic domain of rat Cx30.3. The peptide was coupled with KLH (carrier protein) using NH2-terminal Cysteine. The peptide sequence is identical in mouse Cx30.3 and has no significant homology with other connexins.

Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Western Blot, though not tested, may potentially be used as an application. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml using ECL ELISA: 1:100,000 using 50-100ng control peptide/well. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control Peptide: C7853-44 Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
