Produktbeschreibung

Applications: Suitable for the cultivation of anaerobes and stock culture maintenance. Used to differentiate saccharolytic from proteolytic Clostridium sp. Saccharolytic species form acid and gas without digesting the meat. Proteolytic species form sulfur compounds (putrid smell) and break down the meat to amino acids (blackening). Also suitable for recovery of Clostridium botulinum from foods. Expected cultural response after 40-48 hours at 35C. Appearance: Yellowish brown to brown granules Solubility: Medium amber supernatant, insoluble granules pH: 7.6-8.0
