Full length creatine kinase BB isoenzyme with aa sequence identical to the native enzyme. CK-BB is a 47kD dimeric protein comprised of 2 identical B subunits. Purified in the enzymatically active form. Reacts with polyclonal antibodies to BB isoenzyme in ELISA. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Unit Definition: One unit will transfer one micromole of phosphate from creatine phosphate to ADP/minute at 37C. Measured at 340nm as one equimolar amount of NADH produced by coupled reaction. Storage and Stability: Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
