This clone is a reliable positive control in assays for detection of DNA antibodies, especially for the detection of autoantibodies in autoimmune diseases. It can also be used for sensitive detection of mycoplasma contamination in cell cultures. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry and Dot Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:10 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10 (microwave treatment recommended) Dot Blot: on nitrocellulose membrane, after baking at 70C Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: 1:200 (0.5ug/ml) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
