| Prepared from purified salmon testes DNA, by mechanical shearing and heat denaturation to an average fragment size of 200-1000 base pairs. Recommended Concentration: 100ug/ml. Heat in boiling water for 5 minutes, then cool immediately in ice bath. Handling: To reverse any renaturation occurring during storage, briefly boil and rapidly chill before use. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
