Produktbeschreibung

The protein encoded by this gene is a post-proline cleaving aminopeptidase expressed in quiescent lymphocytes. The resting lymphocytes are maintained through suppression of apoptosis, a state which is disrupted by inhibition of this novel serine protease. The enzyme has strong sequence homology with prolylcarboxypeptidase and is active at both acidic and neutral pH. Source: Recombinant human, DPP7, aa26-end, with C-terminal HIS tag, expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Molecular Weight: 52.5kD Specific Activity: 1882pmol/min/ug Assay conditions: 10mM Tris-HCl, pH7.4, 10mM MgCl2, 1mM MnCl2, 20uM Ala-Pro-AMC, 10 min, RT Applications: Suitable for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months.
