Estrogen receptor binding site associated antigen 9, also known as EBAG9, is a type III transmembrane protein that is predominantly located in the Golgi. This protein is a tumor-associated antigen that is expressed at high frequency in a variety of cancers, such as advanced breast and prostate cancers. As the EBAG9 acts to inhibit the growth of receptor-binding cells and induced apoptosis of immune cells, cancer cells might evade immune surveillance. So immunodetection of EBAG9 expression can be a negative prognostic indicator. Recombinant human EBAG9 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
