Elastin is an important polymeric protein of connective tissue that imparts elasticity to vertebrate elastic tissues. Sequence (linear): Val-Gly-Val-Ala-Pro-Gly Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
