This immobilized elastase is useful in cleaving substrate proteins such as PAI-1. The immobilized elastase cleaves PAI-1 between the P3 and P4 residues creating a loop-inserted species that is not inhibitory to uPA and tPA. Free from trypsin and chymotrypsin Application: Suitable for use in cleaving Human PAI-1. Other applications not tested. Storage and Stability: Store at 4C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
