Estradiol is the predominant sex hormone present in females. It is also present in males, being produced as an active metabolic product of testosterone. It represents the major estrogen in humans. Estradiol has not only a critical impact on reproductive and sexual functioning, but also affects other organs including the bones. Nomenclature: 1,3,5(10)-Estratrien-3-17b-diol-6-carboxymethyloxime-AP Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. ELISA Titer: OD 405nm ~1.4 at 1:3000 Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 6 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
