Description: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa54-71 of rat and mouse ER b and aa46-63 of human ER b. Sequence (linear): Tyr-Ala-Glu-Pro-Gln-Lys-Ser-Pro-Trp-Cys-Glu-Ala-Arg-Ser-Leu-Glu-His-Thr Applications: Peptide Inhibition Assay: Pre-incubation of 1mg/ml anti-ER b (Catalog E3565-16E) with either 1, 5 or 10mM of this peptide reduced detection of ER b in RIPA lysates of LNCap cells in an immunoblot assay. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
