Human Fetuin-A ELISA is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of human Fetuin-A protein in serum. It is intended for in vitro research use only. Features: The total assay time is less than 3 hours. The kit measures serum Fetuin-A/AHSG. Standard is human plasma based. Quality Controls are human serum based. Components in the kit are provided ready-to-use, concentrated and lyophilized. Kit Components: F4102-01A: Microtiter Strips, 1x96 wells, F4102-01B: Pab (HRP), 1x13ml *F4102-01C: Master Calibrator, 1x100ng F4102-01D: High Control, 2x1vial F4102-01E: Low Control, 2x1vial F4102-01F: Dilution Buffer, 10x, 1x20ml F4102-01G: Wash Solution, 10x, 1x100ml F4102-01H: Substrate Solution (TMB), 1x13ml F4102-01J: Stop Solution, H2SO4, 1x13ml Sensitivity: Limit of Detection (LOD), defined as concentration of analyte giving absorbance higher than mean absorbance of blank* plus three standard deviations of the absorbance of the blank: Ablank + 3xSDblank, is calculated from real fetuin-A values in wells is 0.35ng/ml. *Dilution buffer is pipetted into blank wells. Specificity: Highly specific for human Fetuin-A protein. Crossreactivity was observed with monkey. No crossreactivity with serum of other animal species (bovine, feline, canine, hamster, goat, equine, mouse, porcine, rabbit, rat, sheep) has been observed. Storage and Stability: Store at 4C. Stable for 6 months at 4C. *Note: Store F4102-01C at 4C as a lyophilized powder. Upon reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20C. Stable for 6 months at -20C.
