Hanks Balanced Salt Solution is designed for use with cells maintained in non-CO2 atmospheric conditions. HBSS requires 0.35g/L of sodium bicarbonate and pH adjustment prior to filtration. It contain 1g/L of glucose. Appearance: Beige to orange, homogenous, free-flowing powder Solubility (10X): Orange, clear, complete, some precipitate may be observed due to excess concentration of salts. Sterile filter after solubilization. Solubility (1X): Yellow, clear, complete pH (10X): As Reported pH (1X): As Reported Endotoxin: 1EU/ml
