Human HDAC4, amino acids 627-1084 with N-terminal GST tag, C-Terminal His-Tag, expressed in Baculovirus expression system. Uniprot/Accession: NM_006037. Specific Activity: ~14,000pmol/min/ug Assay Condition: 25mM Tris/Cl, pH 8.0, 137mM sodium chloride, 2.7mM KCl, 1mM MgCl2, and 0.1mg/ml BSA, 20uM BPS HDAC class 2a substrate, (0.03-2ng) HDAC4. Incubation condition: 30 minutes at 37C folloowed by developing for 15 minutes at RT. Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
