Coupling Ratio: ~10-20 moles of biotin per mole gp120. Specificity: Biotin gp120 MN binds strepavidin(AP) and streptavidin(HRP) in ELISA and Western Blot assays. Biological Activity: Binds to solid phase CD4 as determined by capture ELISA using strepavidin(HRP) as a secondary reagent. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:2000-1:10,000 depending on the concentration of the test ligand and specificity and sensitivity of the secondary reagents. gp120/CD4 capture ELISA may be performed in 100ng CD4 in solid phase and 0.1-1.0ng of biotin-gp120. Other applications not tested. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
