Full length Recombinant HIV-1 HXB2 vif produced as a 6xHis-fusion protein in E. coli. Specificity: This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies and HIV-1 converted human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western Blot Biological Activity: Vif dependent HIV-1 virus production in HIV-1 infected SupT1, Jurkat and CEM cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Drug screening and Immunological studies. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1-10ng Western Blot: 1-10ng Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
