Recombinant mouse IgG2A Fc is a dimeric protein. Based on N-terminal amino acid sequencing, the recombinant mouse IgG 2A Fc begins with Met-Asp-Pro-Glu 98 and has a calculated molecular mass of 26.6kD. As a result of glycosylation, the recombinant protein migrates as an approximately 34-35kD protein in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. This protein is to be used as control only. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
