Recombinant corresponding to aa530-757 from mouse IKKB expressed in E. coli.
IKB kinase beta (IKKB) is also known as IKBKB and IKK2. The classical active IKK complex, composed of IKKA, IKKB, and two forms of processed IKKG, phosphorylates and inactivates IKB, resulting in the release and nuclear translocation of active NFKB. Like IKKA, IKKB contains kinase aa15-300, leucine zipper aa458-479, and helix-loop-helix aa605-644 domains. NFKB-inducing kinase (NIK) phosphorylates and activates IKKA/IKKB heterodimers. Within aa530-757, mouse IKKb shares 89% and 96%aa sequence identity with human and rat IKKb, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
