Immunogen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 162-188 in the central region of human Interferon alpha/beta Receptor 1.
IFNAR1 is the receptor for interferons alpha and beta. Binding to type I IFNs triggers tyrosine phosphorylation of a number of proteins including JAKs, TYK2, STAT proteins and IFNR alpha-and beta-subunits themselves. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry (Not Tested). Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Leica): Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections. Requires HIER using EDTA pH 9.0 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
