Recombinant protein corresponding to rat IL-1 beta, expressed in E. coli.
Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml. (100ul/well) will detect at least 2000-4000pg/well of recombinant rat IL-1b when used with I7663-13 as the capture antibody. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Detection limit is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
