IL-10 is a homodimeric protein, each 18.7kD subunit is 160aa residues in length. IL-10 is a potent inhibitor of several cytokines including IFN gamma, IL-2 and TNF. Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is produced primarily by activated T lymphocytes. Recombinant protein corresponding to 160aa from rat IL-10, expressed in E. coli.
