Labeled Irgarol which is a highly specific and effective inhibitor of photosynthesis. This makes it ideal, combined with its very low water solubility, for use in long-life antifouling coatings for marine applications to prevent the growth of algae. Melting Point: 124-126C Solubility: Chloroform, Dichloromethane, Dimethyl Sulfoxide, Methanol Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
